“Working with Burna Boy was ‘sick’ – Jorja Smith reveals

British singer Jorja Smith opened up about her collaboration with Grammy-winning Nigerian musician Burna Boy.

Jorja Smith claims that Burna Boy is an incredible artist and that working in his studio was a great experience.

She highlighted how distinctive Burna Boy’s creative process is, saying it was sick that he freestyles rather than writes his songs.

Burna Boy, according to her, only performs in-studio freestyles until they make sense.

“Working with Burna Boy is sick. He was just freestyling whatever was coming to him over and over again until it made sense” she said.

It might be remembered that the African Giant and Jorja Smith previously collaborated on the hits “Be Honest” and “Gum Body” from Burna Boy’s 2019 album “African Giant.”

German musicians traveled to Nigeria a few months ago in search of a collaboration with Burna Boy, struck Singer’s studio in Lagos.
